For anyone wondering, yes, this game was dropped and most likely will not be picked up again. You can read about it in the dev log titled "End of the Journey" which is right above the comments.
There is a skip-button, but for some reason it doesn't work. There's a choice to keep skipping after choices, but you can't actually skip anything. This is a very mixed message... o_O And makes it tricky if you want to go back to redo choices later, and it takes ages to get back to where you were. >_>
I wonder how many love interests there is in this game, and what kind of people they are..... There's nothing written on this page on it. (I honestly almost didn't download the game for that reason. Impossible to know if there'd be anyone I'd like at all.)

Renan is the perfect guy for those who love Draco Malfoy. lol (And I don't mean his looks. But he's blond too...) Not quite my type, but I know he has a lot of fans. ....I keep expecting him to say "Wait till my father hears about this!" xD
Kary is clearly the laid-back flirty guy. He also looks the part, so it wasn't too difficult to guess. Loving a good (and lewd) joke, and all that.
The last option looks like the class-president type. Stoic and studious. (But I am guessing as he hasn't said a word thus far.)
Clearly the mc need to learn to undress more. How can you not like a nice and warm room? oO (And by nice and warm I mean, like, 28 degrees celcius. Maybe 30. If you go naked. lol)

I'm curious to find out in what way wind magic could be useful for anything other than making a ship move.... oO
It seems as if choosing the room is not the choice for the love-interest. But the next time you are to choose, that may be it. (Despite not knowing anything about the third guy. He's kinda just....there.)
....it also seems as there is no choice to avoid romance in this game. (Not that I particularly would want to, but it's nice to -have- a choice.)

So essentially....
The writing is pretty decent, as is the artwork. The characters are... also pretty decent, if you like those types LI's.
The game is all round pretty standard for this type of game.
And that's pretty much all I can say about it from the demo.
I'm gonna be honest. I absolutely love this game so much. It's been one of my favorite games out of a lot of the visual novels, albeit a bit cliché.
The routes seem really well thought out in my opinion, and the backstories (or at least what I think could be the backstories) seem really interesting.
The art is absolutely gorgeous.
The world building is actually well-done in my opinion, it's really cool.
The choices given are actually really cute, and some of them do what you wouldn't exactly expect, which makes it funny sometimes (lmao)
It really, REALLY sucks that it's been on an indefinite hiatus since 2022. It's been two years, three is approaching. I'd honestly love to help out if I could. I truly think this is a story worth being told- if I had money, I'd definitely fund this project. I think maybe, just maybe, when I'm rich enough I'd fund this game. Because I truly believe it's worth continuing.
But of course, I understand why they had to stop the game, due to expenses and burning out. Those things can really demotivate you to do what you love, and when it isn't fun anymore, it just isn't worth it. I'd just really like to say what I personally thought of this game, honestly.
Back to the game, the plotline was relatively easy to follow, but there's a lot of unanswered things I'm hoping to get answered eventually...if this ever does come back alive. I'm not sure how this game came to be, as I played it last year, after the hiatus was made, but I'm so glad I got a chance to play it. This story, this game is always in the back of my mind and I can't seem to find another one just like it, to fill the void. But hey, some things aren't meant to be currently. But there's always the future. If you made it to the end of this, thanks for reading my review. It's a beautiful game and you should definitely give it a chance (totally unbiased review here trust). Even if it isn't completed, what's there so far is worth reading. Everyone has a story to tell, right?
I'm aware that this visual novel has been paused or "dropped" indefinitely but I played through the demo regardless, despite hesitance because of this news. It was a good decision too. I very much enjoyed what I got the privilege to read. Hyde was my favorite by far.

Not dropped, dev said they needed to do this at their own pace. Sad, but only thing you can do is trust their word and wait or abandon this.
Edit: it might not come out, so can't expect much of it either. Thus is the life of being an indie dev...

They did drop it officially. They put out a post in June of 2022 about it.
